WEEK 1: FREE TO LIVE
Days can often mesh together, and the time it takes to accomplish a goal may seem impossible or completely overwhelming. Do you want something different in your life? Do you want something different with your money? Are you ready to get up off the couch and take the first step? Where do you find the strength to begin? Are you able to accept help, if it is offered? Free to live means being true to the heart and soul of who you are both personally and with your finances. Life can at times overtake us until one day we wake up and do not know who we are or how we got to where we are. If it is time for you to start living the life you have always wanted, know the answer and motivation will be on its way. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.
The first step towards accomplishing your goal is to tell yourself you are okay with change.
It has been said by many motivational speakers that you need to think outside of your box. I completely disagree. Your box is you and what makes you unique. You cannot think outside yourself any more than your liver can go on a picnic without you or your pocket book can go on a spending spree while you sit in the car. You can, however, clean out your box along with the stinking thinking that is holding you back to make room for your box to expand.
One action step at a time and you will be on your way to living the life you have always wanted to live…
Take a few minutes to improve the rest of your life. On a calendar, number every Tuesday beginning at one and ending when you hit week fifty-two. The minutes and hours of the upcoming weeks are yours to spend however you want. Imagine fifty-two Tuesdays from now has arrived, and you are able to reflect back upon all you have accomplished with your relationships and finances. Write down what you want your life to be like as if it were so, as well as how you felt in that moment.
Take the challenge one step further and inspire deep, meaningful communication.
Encourage your friends and family to take this week’s challenge with you. Talk about the thoughts and feelings each of you experienced in completing the suggested action step. Research and reflect upon both quotes and Scripture verses pertaining to this week’s challenge. Below are two to get you started. Enjoy.

Listen to the voice of wisdom within calling you to do good, do right, and excel. Then find a friend who can walk beside you and encourage you when you have no strength to carry on. SN
